Memet Ali KAYA

He was born in 1966 in Batman. He completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at Middle East Technical University (METU) Geological Engineering Department. In 1989, he started to work at Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TP). He served as TP Azerbaijan Country Manager between 2002-2006, Head of TP Overseas Projects Department between 2006-2010, and Head of TP Strategy Development Department between 2010-2017. He also served as a member of the World Petroleum Council (WPC) Turkey National Committee for 4 years. He retired in 2017 and continues to provide consultancy services to different companies and projects within his professional expertise. He received various trainings on Learning Organisations and Systems Thinking from the Learning Organisation (SOL) Foundation. He is married. He paints as an amateur.

Since 1990, he has been working as a volunteer in the Sun of Wisdom Association and the Sun of Humanity Foundation. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sun of Wisdom Association and the Sun of Humanity Foundation.

Taner ÖZEL

He was born in 1959 in Erzurum. He graduated from Yenimahalle Industrial Vocational High School, Department of Machine Drawing and in 1980 he graduated from Higher Technical Teacher Training School, Department of Machine Drawing. He worked as a teacher for a short period. Between 1981 and 2002, he worked at Aselsan military electronics factory. After his retirement, he continued his working life in a private company. In 2020, he ended his active working life. He has made reading and research a part of his life. He likes nature walks and being in nature. He is married and has two children. He also has two grandchildren.

Since 1991, he has been working as a volunteer in the Sun of Wisdom Association and the Sun of Humanity Foundation. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Sun of Humanity Foundation and serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Ass. Prof. Dr. Fatmagül YILMAZ ÇINAR

She was born in 1971 in Ankara. After graduating from Hacettepe Faculty of Medicine in 1995, she was specialised in Ophthalmology Department of SBU Ankara Training and Research Hospital. She is currently working as a strabismus unit specialist in the Eye Clinic of the same hospital. She is married and has one child.

Since 2005, she has been working as a volunteer in the Sun of Wisdom Association and the Sun of Humanity Foundation. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Sun of Humanity Foundation.

Levent KENTER

He was born in 1962 in Ankara. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 1988. Since then, he has been working as a freelance lawyer. He is an amateur photographer, traveller and blogger.

Since 1990, he has been working as a volunteer in the Sun of Wisdom Association and the Sun of Humanity Foundation. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Sun of Humanity Foundation and serves as a member of the Board of Directors.

Özlem KAYA

She was born in 1972 in Aydın. She completed her bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature and master’s degree in Educational Administration, Supervision, Planning and Economics at Hacettepe University. She worked in various positions at Ankara University, Ministry of National Education Projects Coordination Centre and General Directorate of Lifelong Learning. She has experience in preparing and managing EU funded projects. She is currently working as an education specialist in the Ministry of National Education. She is married.

Since 1990, she has been working as a volunteer in the Sun of Wisdom Association and the Sun of Humanity Foundation. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Sun of Humanity Foundation and serves as a member of the Board of Directors.

Emin EROL

He was born in Ankara in 1959, he graduated from the Naval Military College in 1980, and completed his service in the Naval Forces Command, where he started as a lieutenant, in the rank of Chief of Naval Staff Colonel in 2011, when he retired. He is a PhD student in the Department of International Relations at Ankara University. He is married to Tülay Erol and is the father of Yunus Can.

Since 2013, he has been working as a volunteer in the Sun of Wisdom Association and the Sun of Humanity Foundation. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Sun of Humanity Foundation and serves as a member of the Board of Directors.

Dolunay POLAT

She was born in 1972 in Mersin Silifke. She graduated from METU Educational Sciences Department of Psychological Counselling and Guidance in 1996. She worked as a coordinator, trainer and consultant in United Nations and European Union Projects. She worked as a coordinator in the Sexual Health Education and Counselling Centre, which was carried out in cooperation with the Turkish Pharmacists Association and Hacettepe University AIDS Treatment and Research Centre. She worked as a psychological counsellor at HŞ Clinic and Türk Telekom (AVEA) Communication Services. She still continues her professional life as a therapist in her own Duyu Atölyesi Psychological Counselling and Training Centre. She is an EMDR Therapist. Couple therapy and individual therapies are among the areas she works in. She has written books on the field, chapter authorship in many books and articles in scientific journals. She is married.

Since 2000, she has been working as a volunteer in Sun of Wisdom Association and Humanity Sun Foundation. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Sun of Wisdom Association.

Murat ULU

He was born in 1970 in Ankara. He completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at METU Geological Engineering Department. Between 1993-2007, he worked as an engineer, project manager and Head of Department in exploration, research centre, overseas projects and strategy development departments of Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TP). He continued his professional career as a manager in the private sector between 2007-2018. Since 2018, he has been working as an independent consultant in the energy and earth science technologies sectors. He is married and has one child.

Since 2013, he has been working as a volunteer in the Sun of Wisdom Association and the Sun of Humanity Foundation. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Sun of Humanity Foundation and serves as a member of the Board of Directors.

Tülay EROL

She was born in 1965 in Ankara. She graduated from METU Department of Architecture in 1987. Between 1987-1992, she worked as an architect at Tabar Engineering Ltd. and BM Holding. In 1992, she started working at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, General Directorate of Investments and Enterprises, Board of Controllers and retired in 2018. She is married and has one child.

Since 2012, she has been working as a volunteer in the Sun of Wisdom Association and the Sun of Humanity Foundation. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Sun of Wisdom Association.

Cengiz TOPLAMA

He was born in 1981 in Ankara. In 2005, he graduated from Eskişehir Anadolu University Faculty of Law. In 2006, he completed his legal internship and has been working in his own law office since 2006. He has worked as a volunteer at the Ankara Bar Association and the Union of Turkish Bar Associations for many years. He is married and has two children.

Since 2018, he has been working as a volunteer at the Wisdom Sun Association and the Sun of Humanity Foundation. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Wisdom Sun Association.
